THE SONOMA COUNTY FALCONS FOR FUN CHAPTER

The front end sheet metal I believe has its origins from a Mercury Comet. The grill is unique to Australia. The rear end has raised circular tail lamps. I believe this to be an Australian enhancement. It was first introduced in 1964.
I drive it almost every day. It hasn't been restored. Since I've owned it I've gotten rid of some rust from around the lower windscreen corners, rebuilt the brakes and engine and had some dent's removed from the roof. One day it will get the full treatment. Next job is to rebuild the front end.
The Australian Falcon Range in 64 was available with 144cuin, 170cuin or 200cuin engines, 3sp manual, 2sp Auto or 3 sp Auto transmissions. No V8's. Body styles available were Sedan, Hardtop, Station Wagon, Ute and Panel Van.
Note: James--thanks for getting in touch with us at the Sonoma County Falcons website. Ford most definitely had a better idea in Australia when it decided to continue the production of the Falcon--to this day! AA
