THE SONOMA COUNTY FALCONS FOR FUN CHAPTER

1964 SEDAN DELIVERY
Larry Goffinet--Indiana

Larry Goffinet is from Marion, Indiana. He recently sent us with some information about his his awesome 1964 Falcon Sedan Delivery. The Sedan Delivery is a rare bird, and one of this powerful caliber must be a sight to see.  Below is a photo of Larry's Delivery that is "delivering" the goods off the line at the local strip!

Larry provided the following information regarding his Sedan Delivery

The engine is a 69 Boss 302, bored .030 over with a stock crank and rods, and Arias pistons. It also has a Lunati flat tappet cam and associated valve gear. The heads are actually 70 4v cleveland units with 2.19 in. and 1.72 ex. stainless steel valves. The intake setup is a Weiand tunnel ram with 2 Holley 750's. An MSD7al ignition is used. A homebuilt C4 and a Coan 6000 stall converter feed a 5.43 geared 9" rear.

The car has run a 11.00 @120.69mph in the 1/4 and 6.91@ 97 and change in the 1/8th mile. The back bumper has a couple of funny dents in it from the occasional "big" wheelstand.(I don't beleive in wheelie bars!)

Yes-I do get the "grill" about the grill. It came with the car ,and I like it better than the 64 grill anyway. I'm sure the purists will have a fit over that one--sorry guys.
