G'day Falcon Friends,

Here are some photos of my XM sedan originally and now as I am removing all of the paint for a complete resto.  The old girl's been sitting around for 8 years gathering dust so now I have finally pulled my finger out and stripped her.  I hope to finish bodywork by around august...and will keep you posted.  The Falcon line has been running here since 1960 in Broadmeadows near Melbourne in Victoria.  The latest 08 has just been released and it is a nice looking car.  Here are some pics from 66 in the plant when the XR Falcon was being made.  This was the first falcon built in Oz with optional factory V8 (289 Windsor).  Page is  www.slv.vic.gov.au/pictures/inter/34937.shtml

Rick---Thank you for the interesting before and after photos of your Falcon.  Please be sure to send us photos when you are done to inspire us all!  Also, thanks for the historical weblink.  We are kind of jealous in the USA about the Falcon still being produced in Australia.   However, I feel a bit better when I realize that we have the Mustang over here...and we all know about the roots of the Mustang.
