THE SONOMA

FALCONS FOR FUN CHAPTER
1965 COMET
CALIENTE HARDTOP
James & Sheila Day,
Pasadena Texas
The Day's Psy-Clone looking like it's ready to GO!
James reports that the Comet is a '65 Caliente two door hardtop (two-tone) with white body and black top. It has a black cyclone interior. The motor is a 347 cubic inch stroker with an Edelbrock air gap intake, ported TFS Heads, Pro Edge 3000 stall converter, ford traction lock posi differential with 3.55 gears, Hooker long tube headers, and a Holley 650 double pumper carburetor.
James sums it up like this: This car is virtually all
original on the interior and exterior, but you know it's no where near stock when it
fires up. It has a bit more muscle than the tires can handle and scary to drive at times!
James---Very well said!
Nothing like a stroked small block to liven up the Sunday afternoon drive. I would
like to take a ride in it so I can get 'scared' too....thanks for sharing your ride with
us here....AA
Update - 11/04
James sent us a couple more photos of the HOT COMET!

Don't try this at home! Your neighbors could get a bit upset with you...
James---thanks for the updated photos...It's an awesome Comet and we're sure that you create smiles wherever you go with it....AA
