THE SONOMA COUNTY FALCONS FOR FUN CHAPTER

1965 FORD FALCON SEDAN DELIVERY
Mike and John Coffey, California

Photo and information provided by Mike Coffey, 11/01

Hi, Here's some pics of my dad's and my 65 sedan delivery.   We picked it up from a friend of his who had owned it since the late 60's.  It's a California car (no rust anywhere) with a factory 289.  It had been sitting in a field since '76.  Our first step was to take all the 70's custom parts off (side pipes, moon wheels, shag
carpet,tuck and roll...).

The engine supposedly ran when parked but is being freshened up and getting a
list of hipo parts.  The car was stripped of all parts and down to its original color (silvery blue).  It's currently being repainted in House of Kolors Shimrin Tangelo (bright orange).  Rather than rebuilding to orig. specs, we decided to go alittle more custom.  it will be lowered a couple inches with american racing torque thrust
wheels.  I'll send more pics when available.

Here's an updated photo that Mike provided to us in December, 2001.  The color looks great!  Please keep us informed on your progress.
