All of the work mentioned above was completed in the last year. The car was first raced in May, 2000 in a CVAR vintage event at TWS with the stock motor and finished last but without problems. It was raced again in August in two (2) SCCA regional events and finished both without problems. The next race was a CVAR vintage race at TWS in October and it finished the first race but stuck in 4th gear due to a shift linkage bushing coming apart. In the second race it finished 6th with yet another gearbox problem. We have decided to switch from a T-10 to a Ford top loader to solve this problem.
