THE SONOMA COUNTY FALCONS FOR FUN CHAPTER

Brother Mark and Father O'Brien at the Dearborn Classic Show in Bend, Oregon--August, 2001
Father John O'Brien (on the right) and Brother Mark Van Doren (on the left) are two of the most dedicated members of the Sonoma County Falcons. They faithfully attend most of the club meetings and events.
Father O'Brien and Brother Mark depend on their 64 Falcon Wagon for all of their transportation needs. The Wagon is in good shape and is equipped with a 200 six-cylinder motor and an automatic transmission. Brother Mark is an excellent mechanic and keeps the wagon in tip-top shape.
Above is a photo of them and their trusty wagon at the Dearborn Classics Show in Bend, Oregon that was held in August, 2001. Father O'Brien really likes those smooth Oregon roads because it makes the Falcon feel like it's cruising down the road like a Cadillac! They won the Long Distance Award for the Show and proudly displayed it at a recent meeting. Way to go guys!!!
The Sonoma County Falcons are lucky to have these two in our club. Father O'Brien is an excellent Historian and has kept in-depth records regarding our chapter. His records include information and documentation regarding the formation of our chapter, and photographs of most of our cars. They're always looking for new photos.
When things get a bit heated at our club meetings, we are reminded that we are under the watchful eye of the Father. The Father occasionally shares some amazing stories and is an excellent speaker. Who (that was there) can forget his blessing of the Falcons, the Ford Motor Company, Robert McNamara, and all of the attendees at the 2000 FCA Awards Banquet in Sacramento?
