The 3rd annual Fun Ford Sunday held on September 12th was a big success! Over 600 Fords were registered for the show. Chapter members counted 38 Falcons on the show field.
That was one long double-line of
Falcons on Sunday! My guess is there was well over 600 Fords at the show. I'll report the
actual number after I attend the next meeting of the Nor-Cal Ford Council.
The Fun Ford Sunday is hosted by the Nor-Cal Ford Council which is composed of Northern California Ford clubs. This past year, our own club members Steve Dolar (Co-Chair of this year's show) and Al Aiello were actively involved in the planning of the event. Steve and Al attended monthly planning meetings leading up to the event.
Several members from the Sonoma and River City Chapters attended the show, and assisted with the set-up of the show. A special "thanks" is sent to all SCFF and RCC members that participated and assisted with this year’s show.
63 Sprint Interior
There were some beautiful show-stopping Falcons at this year's show. The above photo was taken of the interior of an immaculate 63 Sprint Convertible--and I do mean immaculate. I didn't get an opportunity to meet the owner, but perhaps there will be another chance at this year's National event in Sacramento.
The below photo is another Sprint interior--this one is of a rare 65 Sprint Convertible owned by River City President Rosie Wilson. As usual Rosie's Sprint garnered a lot of attention, and why shouldn't it--only 300 were produced!
