THE SONOMA COUNTY FALCONS FOR FUN CHAPTER
RARE
FALCONS SPOTTED IN OCCIDENTAL
On February 20, 1999, several
members from the Sonoma County Falcons for Fun Chapter cruised to Occidental, and had
lunch at the historic Union Hotel. Despite the rainy weather, approximately 20
persons went on the cruise.

The cruise began at the Falcon's
Nest in Santa Rosa. The Falcon caravan left Santa Rosa at about 10:30 AM. Ray
Johnson led us on another interesting cruise through west Sonoma County and we arrived at
the Union Hotel about 12:00 PM.

The Falcons
rested in their wet parking perches while their owners dined in the warm and cozy
Occidental Hotel.
The group was treated to a family-style
Italian Dinner. There was plenty of good food and company, and nobody left hungry!
Another SCFF cruise will be held on March 21, 1999. Hopefully, the weather will be
better.
