The Falcon Club of America (FCA) National Convention was held in Nashville, Tennessee on July 25th July 27th. The Music City Chapter hosted the grand event!
Nashville has been referred to as the "Athens" of the south. For a few brief days in July, it was known as Falcon "Nirvana". A full size replica of the Greek Parthenon was built in Nashville in the latter part of the 19th century. It houses the art treasures of the City. For a few days, the Nashvilles Marriott Hotel housed a good portion of the nations Falcon treasures.

If I could only use one word to describe the show, that word would be "BIG". With over 350 Falcons on the show field, and approximately 670 persons attending the Awards Banquet, this was definitely the largest FCA gathering to date.

With over 350 Falcons at the Convention, there were Falcons as far as the eye could see.
The Music City Chapter is congratulated for a job well done! The parking lot of the hotel was full of Falcons, and the hospitality suite was stocked with food and refreshments. What more could a Falcon lover ask for? Add excellent raffle prizes, Falcon parts galore, and lots of friendly Falcon folks!

This rare "Cayuse" Falcon was on display at the show. Look for a full length article and additional photos of this rare Falcon in an upcoming SCFF newsletter.
Next years FCA National Convention will be in Texas. Perhaps there will be a few SCFF members that will make the trek.

This stunning 66 Wagon was "Best of Show".
