THE SONOMA COUNTY FALCONS FOR FUN CHAPTER

FORESTVILLE PARADE
FORESTVILLE, CA
June 1, 2002

The Forestville Parade was held on Saturday, June 1st. Forestville is a small town with great beauty and charm. The Forestville Parade serves up a big slice of American pie in this great country of ours!

The Sonoma Chapter Falcons were invited to participate in this year's parade. Nine Falcons with their owners showed up for the annual event. It was a great day for a parade as the weather was beautiful.

Wayne Yeager rode with me in my wife's 64 convertible. Yes--she does let me drive it! Wayne had a great idea to stop and buy some candy on the way to the parade. Wayne was a big hit with the kids as he threw candy in all directions as we cruised the parade route through downtown Forestville.

A big hit with me was all of the Model Ts that showed up for the parade. I've never seen so many Ts in one location at one time, and they were all running. The Falcons and Model Ts in a parade together were a beautiful sight, and judging from the smiles along the parade route, were greatly appreciated by the crowd!

After the parade, a carnival was held at the local Youth Park. It was a great day, and perhaps I can convince Wayne to go with me again next year. After all, he is a local....
