THE SONOMA COUNTY FALCONS FOR FUN CHAPTER

2^nd ANNUAL FUN FORD SUNDAY A BIG SUCCESS

The second annual Fun Ford Sunday was held in Milpitas on Sunday September 13, 1998. This was the second effort for the show that was held at the Great Mall - the former location of the San Jose Ford Plant.

Several members from the Sonoma County Falcons for Fun Chapter attended the event. The Club Banner was setup and newsletters and application forms were handed out to other Falcon owners who attended the show, but are not affiliated with an FCA Chapter. This year, the SCFF took an active role in planning and setting up the event. Vice President Steve Dolar and Al Aiello (Editor) attended many meetings this past year to assist other Ford clubs with the undertaking of this important event. Bob Snider (Greater Bay Area Chapter II) also assisted with the event by taking care of the advertising arrangements for the Show. Chapter members Bill Johns, Ron Wilson, and Steve Dolar assisted with the set-up of the show the night before, and the morning of the event.

This show represents an excellent opportunity to promote the Ford Falcon and form relationships with other Ford-Lincoln-Mercury clubs in Northern California. A BIG "Thank You" is in order for all of the SCFF members that planned and attended the event. With our help and support, the Fun Ford Sunday show will continue to grow--and next year we'll hope for a bit cooler weather! (AA)
