THE SONOMA COUNTY FALCONS FOR FUN CHAPTER

2002 FCA PACIFIC REGIONAL EVENT
Bakersfield, California
April 26-27, 2002

This year's Annual FCA Pacific Regional was held on April 26th - 27th in Bakersfield, California. This year's annual event was hosted by the Central California Falcon Chapter.
The show was held at the Rio Bravo Resort just east of Bakersfield. The resort was an oasis in the middle of the desert. The oasis was packed with Falcons this year.

Here's some members from the Sonoma County Falcons for Fun having fun with friends from San Diego. This photo was taken at this year's Regional in Bakersfield.

The Central Cal Chapter reported that 84 Falcons were on the show field. The show "field" this year was actually lush green grass. The grass was a welcome change from the usual asphalt of most car shows. The "live" band was also a different twist on the usual events and was well-liked by the crowd.

Several members from the Sonoma Chapter made it to the event and it was great to see them at this year's Regional event. It was also great to meet a lot of new Falcon lovers from Central and Southern California, and points beyond.

This was the first time that the Pacific Regional had been held outside of northern California. All of the previous Regional events had been hosted by the River City or Sonoma Falcons Chapters.

Nick King (President) and all of the Central Cal Club members who made this year's show happen are to be congratulated for a job well done!
